
Last night, we were attacked by this jumping cockroach. Some screamed, others remained unaffected. With much enthusiasm, I volunteered to kill the damn thing and so I took out my trusty orange sneaker and smashed it. I then wrapped it in a napkin to be thrown outside but when I tried to fling it off, it landed on the fence of the gate. This photo is the result of such a landing.
I am still marveling at the fortune of this photo.
Here it is right after it took a blow to the guts.

Well, I'm glad that you are not afraid of roaches...look quite familiar to our own here.

argh!!! that is utterly gross.
i am afraid of roaches; i kill them out of fear.
