Cool pics. Is that sparrow for eating? And there are some big jars down there!
Reading some of this reminds me of my co-workers stories of a Chinese family growing up in Cambodia under the KR. Sounds very similar to what I'm reading on the blog!
I lived in rural Cambodia from January to May of 2008. The time there and journey of return resonates deeply with me. Srok Khmer is a phrase that means the love and affection one has for the country of Cambodia. If you want to, you can search the archives and read back on my experiences.
