I don't know if you guys have seen this commercial yet but every time it comes on, I can't help but recite the lines. I think it is a clever response to Apple's advertising.
Wendy Bee. I just watched both your Vlogs. They're good! You shouldn't worry about rambling cause it's not mumbling - in fact, it's totally coherent and interesting. =D Is it weird when you get random comments from ppl you know, but didn't know read your blog? Ahhh!! K, maybe not.
So I was actually gonna ask you (you being one who, first, has a blog and, second, cares about responsible pro-active-ness) if you would be up for sharing a video about desertification on your blog. I'm working with a group that does social justice films and we recently finished filming in Africa. I'm trying to figure out how to share the videos so I thought I'd start with ppl who I know care about these things. If you're interested, please let me know! The videoes are at www.edenprojects.org/media - my favorite (the the prettiest) one is Tesfaye's video, but the other ones are educational, too.
I like your blogging style, btw, both the lay out and your writing style.
I lived in rural Cambodia from January to May of 2008. The time there and journey of return resonates deeply with me. Srok Khmer is a phrase that means the love and affection one has for the country of Cambodia. If you want to, you can search the archives and read back on my experiences.
