This is short but I just came home from doing all my paperwork for the new restaurant.
I am super excited! The bits of food I tried today were great. I'm looking forward to our two weeks of training so I can taste everything else. And I found out that the prices will be reasonable. That, plus the 50% employee discount (good for friends too!), makes for a sweet deal.
Also found out today that my position is officially the gourmet market. Hey that's cool by me. It will give me the chance to find out if I want to try and move up the ladder, etc.
Yes, I also asked if I could take pictures during training for you, dear blog. So look forward to that later in the month.
P.S. Once we're opened, I am going to be promoting the restaurant a lot! So everybody... find some time to come out to downtown LA in the coming months okay?

Wendy, you are such an inspiration. Ever since you whipped out your camera when the Rosebowl Parade floats crept by Mama's on New Year's Eve... I have been obsessively clinging to my phone and snapping picture in super low-res to document things. The latest documentation?
