So I finally saw Wall-E tonight and, like many others, thought it was brilliant. I didn't know anything about the story which only added to the experience. I was gasping in surprise, wonder and worry throughout the movie - it was like I was one of the many kids in the theater. Also, the short in the beginning! That one along with the old man playing chess are probably my two favorite Pixar shorts.
I really enjoy going to a movie not knowing anything about it. All I knew about this movie was what the robot looked like because of the billboards. I had a great time watching Get Smart, a few weeks ago, not having a clue about the background of the film either. I think this is something I will try to do from now on.
